After five suggestions it reaches the limit and doesn't store the suggestion in the database and returns a message saying that the suggestion can't be saved.

There can be a limit if you are not using the newly added feature for the rich text editor. Otherwise as the demo now uses version 1.5.3, there is no limit to characters as this was one major complaint from customers which is now fixed.

You can moderate it by logging in to your site with the appropriate user level set in the configurations and moderate from the front end as you are browsing the feedback. This can also be done from the backend. Once something is posted it will appear on the site. By moderating, are you implying a feature to approve anything that gets posted to the site using BeeHeard? If so, then this can be suggested as a feature request and can be a good feature for future implemenation.

Was initially comparing the user's name/username against the logged in user and having the options for different names created problems. Now fixed with more robust way by comparing created post user's id against logged in user's id.

Are you using JomSocial or Community Builder? This issue seems to be with the name and not username in particular. Any specific information would help as I'm looking into all possible permutations of social networking components and options.

I believe this is possible for the menu item permissions, correct? If you would only like registered users to view suggestions/comments just force the menu item link to the component to be for registered users I would assume would be easiest/best.

Yes, a joomla user that is of user level author, can perform all moderation capabilities on the frontend as would a user level of type Super Admin. I have not created specific restrictions for user levels in the component.

This is allowed. An administrator, when logged in, can go to the category list (the category list appears different from a moderator and a user) and click on the Yes link to toggle the published state. A Enter New Category link appears to add cats.

This is a great idea. Briefly looking at Jcomments developer's guide it seems very doable for this as an option to be integrated with BeeHeard. Haven't looked at jomcomment yet but they may have something similar as well to allow for integration.
